Oleson Road Treasure Show

Saturday, February 19, 2011, 11:30 am to 4 pm
West Hills Unitarian Fellowship Church, 8470 SW Oleson Road, Portland, OR 97223

If you have wondered if that relic given to you by your grandmother is valuable, Oleson Road Treasure Show experts can help.

The Scandinavian Heritage Foundation has gathered 14 expert antique and collectible appraisers from the Portland Metropolitan area and Washington State to identify and provide informal appraisals of your items. Meet well-known appraisers:

Kevin Bowers, a specialist in furniture, artwork, glassware and silver;
Arthur Erickson, specializing in Native American, tribal arts and primitives;
Loren Hall, representing Scandinavian modern.
John Nielsen, expert gemologist, jewelry and watches

Other appraisers specialize in Asian antiques, Swedish country antiques and jewelry, quilts, copper and brass, books, Nordic folk art, fiber art weaving, WWI and WWII artifacts.

Reservations will ensure a shorter wait for your evaluation, but walk-ins are welcome as well. Bring as many as four items.

Entry is $15 for one item, $10 each additional item.

Also enjoy Scandinavian pea soup, coffee, cookies and wine tastings from Johan Vineyards. A children's play area is available. Mini-silent auction and raffle.

Proceeds from this benefit will support cultural programming for the Scandinavian Heritage Foundation.
