Celebrate with us the richness of Nordic culture
"What the immigrant tries to forget, the grandson tries to recover."
Marcus Hansen, Grand View College

Look at what Northwesterners hold most dear about Oregon and Southwest Washington and you'll see strong Nordic traditions and values. Today, the Scandinavian Heritage Foundation (SHF) is a catalyst for preserving authentic traditions and culture while celebrating modern Scandinavian life
Whether of Scandinavian descent or simply interested in Nordic countries, SHF members have joined the large pan-Scandinavian family in the Northwest dedicated to preserve, communicate and celebrate Scandinavian culture, values and traditions.
